This is to any fans of The Inheritance Cycle Book Series, the books are Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. I am going to draw groups of characters and I would like to know if anyone has any other ideas of good character combonations. So far I have ideas for the following: Eragon and Saphira Murtagh and Thorn Oromis and Glaedr Arya and Fírnen Galbatorix and Shruikan The Ra'zac and Letherblaka Nasuada and The Nighthawks Roran and the Varden Warriors Nar Gazhvogh (I don't know if I spelled it right) and his Kull Durza and his Urgals Brom and Morzan Lord Barst and The Empire's Soldiers The Twins Hrothgar and Orik Blod

No problem, I love your creations and am working on sketching up some of my very own OC's. If you have any tips and tricks would love to know as much as I can. I'm starting with basics, drawing/ sketching.

Ho tips and tricks huh?
Well the most basic one is: practice. A lot of it.

The second I can give (another basic one): Reference a lot. First and foremost from Photos, maybe even from artists you like.
Not tracing or anything like that just see how stuff works and how other artists solved "problems" depending on the style in question.
Maybe get a hang of gesturedrawing too

Other than that... I wouldn't really now what advice to give. I'm mostly just experimenting around myself...
Well not let drawing become a chore I guess? It should be fun as far as I'm concerned.

I really like some of the tattoo-designs you got there. You're a professional tattoo-artist or something? (I don't have a clue about these myself to be honest... I'm just curious)
